About Us

Dance Workshop is family owned and operated since 1987. With the help of her mom Rita, as her secretary, advisor and best friend, Miss Lisa began this journey.  As Miss Lisa watched her dream of  sharing dance with her students become a reality, she also became a mom.  Miss Desiree, with her creative spirit and keen sense for musicality began dancing as soon as she could stand up.  She spent her early years taking it in and soaking up all the knowledge that her mom bestowed upon her students.  She has dedicated her adult life to passing that on to the next generation of DWPA dancers.  With their leadership, and the help of Miss Mary, our beloved studio office manager, the Dance Workshop Performing Arts has continued to grow and flourish.  They are joined by the 3rd generation of family dancers in young Sophia.
